Rajiv D. Sone is a practising advocate appearing before the Supreme Court of India, the Bombay High Court, district and sessions courts, and tribunal forums including the NCLT, DRT and CAT — alongside a parallel career as a business founder and management consultant. Few advocates bring both perspectives to a brief; this chamber is built around that combination.
Rajiv holds a B.Com, an LL.B, an LL.M and a postgraduate diploma in business management (MBA, Finance & Marketing). Over 12+ years, that mix of legal training and business grounding has taken him from corporate roles with organisations including ICICI, Kotak and JM Financial Services, into founding his own ventures.
He is the Founder of the Strivik Group of Business, and Cofounder & Director of Strivik Business Solutions Pvt Ltd, its business consulting arm — advising SMEs and corporates on strategy, operations and growth across manufacturing, trading, hospitality, real estate and retail. That same diagnostic approach — reading a situation for what it actually costs and what it's actually worth — carries directly into how he takes up a legal matter.
The litigation practice today spans criminal defence, corporate and NCLT matters, DRT recovery proceedings, civil and property disputes, family matters, CAT service matters, and consumer suits, argued from the Supreme Court of India down to trial courts — for individuals and companies based in Mumbai, elsewhere in India, and for a number of clients based overseas who need an advocate they can brief and instruct remotely.
Before recommending a forum or filing, the exposure, timelines and realistic outcomes are set out plainly for the client to decide on.
Advocate Sone remains directly involved in strategy through the life of the matter, rather than handing it off entirely.
Where a negotiated resolution genuinely serves the client better than a prolonged fight, that option is put on the table, not buried.
